Call Parking for Dialpad

Call Parking for Dialpad

Imagine you're on a call and need someone else to take over or pick it up from another device. With Dialpad’s Call Parking feature, you can place the call on hold, making it easy for a colleague to retrieve it.

Instructions:

  1. “Right now, I’m on an active call.”
    • If I need to hand it off, I’ll go to the ‘More’ button — the three dots at the bottom of the screen.
  1. “Next, I’ll select ‘Park Call to Main Line.’”
    • Once parked, I can quickly hop into Teams to find someone to pick up this call.
  2.  “They’ll go to the ‘Departments’ dropdown on the left side of their screen, select ‘ELC Main,’ and then click ‘Take Call’ on the right.”

And that’s it! The call is transferred seamlessly.
