Equipment to take home:

Please do not remove your Monitors or Docking Stations from the ELC Office.

If you think your password is about to expire – it’s best to change it preemptively from office to save yourself the hassle of having to change it offsite through the VPN. Here is how to change your password.

Note: Connecting your laptop to your home wi-fi is fine.  You do not need a hotspot to work from home if your home has internet.

Using the Yubikey to Authenticate in Idaptive

  • To gain remote access to ELC Sites such as Box, Dialpad, Office365, etc you will need to authenticate via Idaptive with either your ELC phone or using the Yubikey

Change password while offsite

  • This course covers changing your password offsite, as well as what to do if you forget your password and it is expired

Windows Snap 

  •  Window-snapping allows you to quickly maximize your screen’s real estate when you only have the one monitor to work from. The feature lets you “snap” a window to one side of your screen without having to move it around and resize it manually.

Clearing your cookies and cache 

  • A cache stores recently-used information in a place where it can be accessed extremely fast.  If you run into trouble – occasionally the IT Team will ask you to clear your Cache and Cookies.  This is course walks you through how to do that.
